What is the process for designing a custom album?

How do you know who is in the photos and what is going on?
Great question. We will begin with a quick conversation once we receive your photos to discuss your vision for the album. It is completely up to you how involved you’d like to be in the design process. Some clients prefer to handoff an entire stack of photos. Others like to document key information such as who is in the picture, where you were, when the photo was taken, etc.
How do I get you my photos?
Sending photos to us is an easy process. Here are your options:
• Snail Mail: Mail your photos directly to:
EMBELLISH at 10330 Friars Rd; Suite 900146, San Diego, CA 92190
• Email: Email digital copies of your prints to info@embellishcreativedesigns.com. Please note: Printing charges will apply. Feel free to send your photos via web services such as Shutterfly, Snapfish, Kodak Gallery or Flickr, as well.
• In Person: If you are in San Diego, we are happy to pick up your photos.
Will every photo I send you be in the album?
It depends how many photos you send to us. Please reference the guidelines on the number of photos per page. It is always best to overestimate. We will do our best to pick the best photos of the bunch to be included in your album. Of course if you designate any “must-have” photos, we will be sure to include them in the final album. All unused photos will be returned with your completed album.
How long does it take?
On average, it takes about 4 weeks to create your album. If you have a specific date you need the album by, just let us know and we can work to meet your deadline. Keep in mind, rush-orders (within 2 weeks) are $100 extra.
Can I see the album before it is finished?
Absolutely! We want to make sure the album is exactly how you envisioned it! We will send you digital photos of the first few initial layouts and ask for your stamp of approval.
What if I don’t live nearby?
No problem! Working virtual is our strength! We are happy to exchange emails and long-distance calls with you. Your final album will be shipped directly to you. Shipping costs are based on zip code.
